TODAY'S LINEUP

Now that I have an easy way to communicate with you, I want to take a moment to tell you what we have coming.

The most significant items for this year will be structures. We have the shortened Republic WA depot and a standard 50,000 gallon water tank in both HO and N scales in the works. The vendor has been selected and has just stated his detailed design process. I expect these to be available no earlier than June 1.

The Republic depot will replace our other small depots in the store. If you want the HO Scale 24 foot Berne Depot get it now. When current stock is gone I will not reorder it. In N scale, the 24x24 depots will also not be reordered, so get it now if you want one. The Republic Depot will be a bit larger than these at 36x24 feet

Following these will have three groups of structures in an order I can not now predict.

I plan to offer two crib style grain elevators. One is a 20,000 bushel elevator built in 1913 at Touhey WA on the Mansfield Branch. The second is a larger elevator at Kandiyohi MN. I also want to offer a multi-bin cylindrical concrete elevator from Mansfield WA. Customers feed the railroad and the Great Northern and its predecessors were, at heart, granger railroads.

Another set of structures are small steam engine terminal buildings. The largest will be 92 foot engine houses and round houses. I suspect we will also offer six or seven smaller support structures. You will see a Reference Sheet on this subject within a few months.

Darin Nelson has agreed to let us offer a series of small commercial structures, all from Douglas County Washington that he has developed.
